Megan & Andy’s Wedding at the Mt. Vernon Country Club

On Saturday August 7th, we enjoyed Megan and Andy’s wedding at the Mt. Vernon Country Club located just outside Denver in Evergreen. In our wedding photography we captured a collection of both the posed and spontaneous, emotional moments of their special day.

Just an hour before the ceremony it rained and gave everyone a scare. Thankfully, however, the skies cleared providing an incredible view of the mountains and the Denver area. A small rainbow even came peeking through the clouds during the ceremony, which was quite spectacular. View the video below to relive Megan and Andy’s special day through our wedding photography.

Heather & Bryan’s Wedding in Northern Colorado

Heather and Bryan enjoyed a wonderful wedding at Della Terra in Estes Park the last Saturday of July. This secluded Northern Colorado venue is known for its gorgeous mountain views. Below is a slide show of photographs from Heather and Bryan’s wedding. A light rain stopped just before we began taking the photos. As you will see, Heather’s smile and enthusiasm is contagious. We just loved being a part of their day.

An Unusual Wedding Song

Recently at a wedding we covered in Northern Colorado, the groom’s sister sang a song about the groom and his new bride. She is a British professional entertainer and the song recalled her brother’s trials as a computer geek, science fiction fan and the couples courtship. The audio isn’t great, but we think it is the most unusual and elaborate wedding moment we have ever personally witnessed. What do you think?

Children in Wedding Photography

Sherri here, one of our favorite parts of many weddings we’ve photographed in Northern Colorado is how the children are involved in these celebrations. Bill is a big sucker for the kids and always makes a lot of pictures of the flower girls and ring bearers. It’s always fun to see the children dressed up for the occasion and so excited to participate in the wedding festivities. It’s a special day for them too.

We can often capture the excitement and emotions of the day in candid photographs of the children. Their facial expressions are priceless. Below are some examples of wedding photography we’ve taken of flower girls and ring bearers at venues throughout the Denver area.

Our Customized Wedding Books

Bill here, I want to tell you a little about my incredible wife, Denver wedding photographer Sherri Barber, and the layouts she is creating for our coffee table style wedding books. When the wedding is over and the proofs and digital negatives are delivered to our customers, our work isn’t done. Many of our customers choose to have us produce a custom wedding album. The current trend is to print and bind a coffee table style book. Many companies are available for printing these wedding books and most photographers use the standard layouts provided by the book companies. Well that wasn’t good enough for my artistic wife, Sherri. She researched many layout programs and obtained the software to design the books herself. Over the span of about a year she learned and perfected an approach to wedding book design that is actually an extension of our style of wedding photography.

Our books are now more personal than ever. Sherri uses details of the dress, veil, flowers and venue architecture as background photos and captures the actual color palette of the wedding. I’m impressed that she has gone to this extent to ensure our books completely illustrate the beauty of each wedding day.  Here are a few samples, what do you think?
