The wedding photographs below were taken at Red Rocks Event Center in the fall. The couple had their ceremony outside the visitor center followed by a reception in the main dining room. As you can see, we were able to capture both posed and unposed moments for truly memorable wedding photographs.

The Arrowhead Golf Club is located in Littleton, Colorado just outside of Denver. This location offers unique wedding photography opportunities. The ancient red sandstone rocks that peak above the golf course are majestic and offer a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony that can also be enjoyed during the reception.
Weddings are typically held at the outdoor circular ceremony site and are followed by a reception in the Roxborough Banquet Room. However, some couples choose to have their reception in the Tent Pavilion, in which case the ceremony will usually be held on the practice range.
The Roxborough Room can accomodate 150 guests, and the adjoining covered patio can hold an additional 30. For larger parties, the clubhouse restaurant can also be rented out and will hold another 60 guests. The other option, the Tent Pavilion can accomodate 180 guests.
If there is bad weather on the day of your wedding and you planned to have an outdoor ceremony, the ceremony can be moved indoors to either the banquet room or the tent. Both locations offer views of the golf course with its red rock landscape so you will still have a beautiful backdrop.
We’ve included some pictures below from a wedding we photographed at the Arrowhead Golf Course just outside of Denver. During the ceremony, a storm was threatening and made for some memorable wedding photographs. Just as the wedding concluded the clouds opened up and the rain came. Fortunately, we had done most of the formal portraits before the ceremony.

Terrace Gardens in Ken Caryl is just 20 minutes from downtown Denver. This beautiful wedding venue offers exceptional photography opportunities and is ideal for romantic sundown weddings. Located twenty yards above the Deer Creek golf course, Terrace Gardens offers breathtaking views of the foothills.
Ceremonies may be held outdoors in the gardens or indoors near one of the grand fireplaces. Receptions are typically held in one of the facility’s two ballrooms, the Roxborough Room or the Crestone Room. Each ballroom is equipped with a dancefloor, buffet area, and outdoor patio. The Roxborough Room seats 150 guests while the Crestone Room seats 250 guests. The Fireside Room, which features a double-sided fireplace, can also be reserved in addition to one of the ballrooms and adds enough space for another 100 guests.
Those who have their reception in one of the ballrooms typically take advantage of the facility’s on-site catering company, Panache Catering. Having the ceremony, reception and catering at one facility provides a convenient and economical option. Terrace Gardens also has an event manager who can help to plan and oversee the event, which can help take the anxiety and pressure out of the planning process.

The Manor House Events Center in the Ken-Caryl Valley is another unique venue near Denver. The white-pillared mansion and rolling hills offer a beautiful backdrop for wedding photography. This Southern style mansion built in 1914 has received many guests over the years including Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft.
Wedding ceremonies can be held either indoors or outdoors with several different locations on the property to choose from. Indoor weddings are often held near one of the two fireplaces in the mansion. Or the ceremony can be held outdoors overlooking Dry Creek Canyon.
For your convenience, there is an on-site wedding coordinator who can help you plan your special day down to the very last detail. Since events are frequently held at the mansion, the staff members are accustomed to preparing for large events and are very well-organized and detail-oriented. The Omni Interlocken Resort is another popular wedding venue located in Broomfield, just outside of Denver. The hotel and adjacent golf course offer landscape views that are ideal for wedding photographs. Pictures of the wedding party are often taken near the cascading waterfall and stream on the property.
Many couples choose to have both their wedding and reception at the Omni Interlocken Resort. The garden is a prime location for an outdoor ceremony with a beautiful contrast of green shrubbery against the blue horizon.
Receptions are commonly held in one of the hotel’s two exquisite ballrooms. The Interlocken Ballroom is ideal for large weddings, as it can accommodate up to 750 guests. The Centennial Ballroom, on the other hand, is perfect great for smaller weddings with a capacity of 250 guests. Both rooms are finely decorated and offer views of the property.
The hotel also offers luxurious rooms for those who wish to stay the night. And the hotel restaurant, Meritage, provides an intimate setting for couples who want to have a post-wedding day brunch with their guests before the honeymoon.
