Sherri’s Favorite Wedding Movie: Father of the Bride
Bill and I have worked as wedding photographers in and around Denver for some time now, which has given us insight as to our favorite wedding venues in Northern Colorado. Covering so many weddings, it’s a given that we’d have a favorite wedding movie. Today I’m going to share my favorite wedding movie, Father of the Bride.
Father of the Bride (1991)
Father of the Bride is a great comedy starring Steve Martin as a worried father-to-be. Like many fathers-to-be, Steve Martin’s character is afraid of losing a daughter (or gaining a son), must come to terms with his daughter’s adulthood, and worries about how much the wedding is going to cost. The movie also features Martin Short in a fun role as an eccentric foreign wedding planner.
