Our Favorite Wedding Venues in Northern Colorado – Fountains of Loveland

I’m back again to talk about our favorite wedding venues in the area. Did you miss me?

Bill and I have done wedding photography coverage through Denver and Northern Colorado for some time, so we’ve got some favorites when it comes to weddings.

Previous posts on wedding venues have highlighted:

Today we’re going to look at another one of our favorites.

About Fountains of Loveland

Fountains of Loveland
is located in Loveland, Colorado and features a wonderful full-service hotel, ballroom, event center, and restaurant and bar. That alone would make it a perfect setting for a wedding ceremony and wedding reception. But The Fountains of Loveland also provides incredible panoramas of the Rocky Mountains, which makes it a wonderful place to celebrate your special day.

Here are some wedding photos at Fountains of Loveland that Bill and I have taken.

More of our favorite wedding venues to come. For now, we encourage you to look through our wedding photography gallery to get a good feel for our work.

Our New Customized Wedding Books

One of the exciting changes we’ve made recently is to our wedding books. Like our previous wedding books, these new wedding books are also elegantly crafted in Italy, but we have changed the shape from rectangular to square. We made this change so that the replica wedding books ordered for your loved ones retain the same layout and essential design as your own wedding book.

Parent books come in 8″×8″ and 6″×6″ sizes. Mini-books are also available and are great for grandparents and members of the wedding party.

This wonderful keepsake will help you relive your favorite wedding memories. We encourage you to look through our wedding photography gallery to see some samples of our work and to contact us today if you are looking for a wedding photographer in the greater Denver area.

Bill’s Favorite Wedding Movie: Four Weddings and a Funeral

Bill and I have worked as wedding photographers in the Denver area for some time now, which has given us insight as to our favorite wedding venues in Northern Colorado. Since we do a lot of wedding coverage, it’s a given that we’d have our own favorite wedding movies.

Last time I mentioned that Father of the Bride is my favorite wedding movie. This time, I’m going to share Bill’s favorite wedding movie with you, Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994)

Four Weddings and a Funeral
is a charming British romantic comedy with Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell. The two of them run into each other at a wedding and develop a romance that neither acknowledges. They see each other again at other weddings and try to deal with their true feelings for each other as some funny and unfortunate events unfold around them.

Sherri’s Favorite Wedding Movie: Father of the Bride

Bill and I have worked as wedding photographers in and around Denver for some time now, which has given us insight as to our favorite wedding venues in Northern Colorado. Covering so many weddings, it’s a given that we’d have a favorite wedding movie. Today I’m going to share my favorite wedding movie, Father of the Bride.

Father of the Bride (1991)

Father of the Bride
is a great comedy starring Steve Martin as a worried father-to-be. Like many fathers-to-be, Steve Martin’s character is afraid of losing a daughter (or gaining a son), must come to terms with his daughter’s adulthood, and worries about how much the wedding is going to cost. The movie also features Martin Short in a fun role as an eccentric foreign wedding planner.

Next time I’ll share Bill’s favorite wedding movie with you.

Laurie & Tim (and Little Ricky) at The Hilton in Fort Collins

Our busy 2009 wedding season kicked off with Laurie and Tim (and little Ricky). The couple had a small church wedding followed by a wonderful wedding reception at the Hilton Hotel in Fort Collins. Their wedding vows included a special ring ceremony where the very surprised Ricky received his own wedding ring.

Laurie’s father chauffeured the couple in his classic 1967 Buick convertible and we took wedding photos of them at the old Fort Collins High School and on the oval at Colorado State University. The wedding reception featured a live band, which is something we feel always adds an additional energy to wedding celebrations.

We were all very lucky as the weather was great that day. The following Saturday we had a foot of snow. Meanwhile, the happy couple was basking in the sun and sand of Mexico.
