Ashlee & Chris at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Downtown Denver

Ashlee and Chris planned an elegant hotel wedding held at The Grand Hyatt Hotel in Downtown Denver. The wedding guests arrived at the grand ballroom of the hotel through a candle-lined entrance hall. The wedding ceremony itself was lit by a stage lighting crew and included follow spotlights, which lent the entire event a unique quality.

Immediately after the ceremony, a stunning sunset over the mountains provided the backdrop for portraits of the couple.

The wedding reception was on the glass-walled 38th floor, which provided everyone in attendance with breathtaking views of the city lights of Downtown Denver. The dance floor was in full disco mode. Again, the additional lighting at their wedding made a big impact on the flavor of the evening.

A chance meeting in the lobby with actor Henry Winkler (yes, The Fonz himself) capped off this wonderful event.

Mountain Avenue Bridal Photo Shoot – Fort Collins, Colorado

Tuesday night Bill and I did a shoot for Patty at Mountain Avenue Bridal in Fort Collins, Colorado. Patty and her staff operate the best wedding planning and wedding dress boutique in Northern Colorado. Gretchen from Maximum Talent in Denver, Colorado was our model for the evening.

A couple hours later we had created a selection of images that Patty will use for her future advertising and we can show as bridal portrait samples. This shoot was like a separate bridal portrait session which allowed us to really tweak the lighting and posing.
