Melissa & Steve at The Hotel Manaco

Melissa & Steve are a couple from Golden, Colorado who included their dog, Eddie, in their wedding celebration. The Hotel Monaco in downtown Denver is dog friendly and even has a resident pooch, Hercules.

Sherri and I began to do their formal wedding photos on the steps of the Federal courthouse a block away from the hotel. However, wind and the approaching rainstorm pushed us back to the hotel. Undeterred, we used the eclectic decor of the hotel to create some unusual wedding portraits. The ceremony and reception were in the lower level of the hotel complete with a live band.
