Sherri Barber Photography at She Said Yes Bridal Show on October 12

Our First Bridal Show of the Fall Season

Sherri and I did our first bridal show of the fall season on September 14th. The show was at The Ranch in Loveland, Colorado and was fairly well attended.

At the show, we rolled out our new display and also showed some new sample books of our custom wedding photo albums. Learn more about our printed and bound wedding albums.

Sherri and I spoke with about 40 brides looking for wedding photography. Several brides were looking for show discounts, which we don’t offer. Both Sherri and I believe that photography (whether at your wedding or any event) is a service that isn’t easy to compare, so sales or discounts are inappropriate.

We encourage you to view our gallery of wedding photos, which shows why capturing emotions and memories as they happen doesn’t have a set price tag.

Sara & Curtis at Fountains of Loveland

This was our second wedding at Fountains of Loveland, the new venue in Loveland, Colorado.

The outdoor ceremony began with a thunderstorm approaching and finished with the rain beginning. Once again, Sherri and I were forced to go to “Plan B” for the formal photos. We added some location lighting and did family group photos in the drive-through entrance to the hotel. Sherri and I also did some extra portraits in the chapel hallway during the cocktail hour.

Sara & Curtis’s wedding celebration featured the most elaborate floral arrangements we saw all season. They were done in fall tones and created by About Vase Floral.

Evka & Jim at Lionscrest Manor

It was so nice for Sherri and me to work at a venue new to us. Lionscrest Manor is a beautiful structure in Lyons, Colorado situated on a ridge overlooking a valley. The staff was attentive and the building and grounds were immaculate.
